When to come to St. Maarten/St. Martin depends on the type of person you are. I am one of those people who thinks that anytime is a good time to come to St. Maarten/St. Martin. Every season has its charm and every season has its drawbacks.

If you come from Europe, the months of July/August may be hard to get a ticket and a great fare. It's vacation time, and many people from France and Holland are booking the 2 major airlines (KLM/Airfrance) full.

Then you have the hurricane season (May - November) where you never know what weather you might expect. Still, lots of people come during the low season, for better air fare and because there are less visitors on the island. It is more calmer. The plants are greener as well. Temperature is almost always thesame (around 90F)
